Join Friendship Center and Carpinteria communities to celebrate the opening of Carpinteria Healthy Aging Hub - a Friendship Center satellite location offering daytime activities, personal care, meals, and joy for older adults living with dementia in the Carpinteria community. Lite bites, drinks, live music, and local art viewing will be provided. *This is a free event, however donations are encouraged. You will be asked to submit # of tickets for attendance purposes but will not be charged.

This is our first step towards building a community of caregivers in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties who will join a movement of caregivers working to uplift caregivers across the state of California. Interested caregivers from this community will be trained as worker owners in a worker owned Homecare Cooperative.
